Passports

To enter Oman, passports must be valid for at least six months from the entry date.

Visas

Nationals from more than 100 countries, including citizens from countries listed in the chart above, can visit Oman for tourism purposes without a visa for stays up to 14 days if the traveller has:
• A confirmed hotel booking.
• Valid health insurance for the duration of the stay.
• A return ticket.

Visa Note

Certain nationalities can enter Oman with a Dubai-issued visa, provided that the traveller enters Oman directly from Dubai, and the visa is valid for at least 21 days. Similarly, certain travellers holding a Qatar tourist visa may enter Oman directly from Qatar, subject to the visa being valid for at least one month. These arrangements are subject to specific eligibility conditions, so travellers must verify with the relevant embassy before travelling.

Types of Visa and Cost

Single-entry 30-day tourist visa: OMR 20.00.

There are also options for multiple-entry visas and visas of different durations, each with varying fees.

Transit

A single-entry transit visa is OMR 5.
